Alonissos may be a little more difficult to reach than other more “popular” or well known Greek islands…. but we guarantee that it is well worth the effort when you get here!!
There are several ways to reach Alonissos depending on your starting point. If you are in the Athens area you can embark from either the port of Agios Konstantinos or from Kymi (on the island of Evia) or take a flight to Skiathos and connect to a ferry or catamaran to Alonissos. From Central Greece the best embarkation point is the port of Volos and from Northern Greece you have the choice of both Volos and Thessaloniki.

The new Anchialos National Airport (Volos airport) now provides excellent service from several European cities at competitive rates. Some airlines also have flights to Skiathos.
